My Windows sound settings are 24 bits/ 192 KHz, exclusive mode is enabled.
Here are the (brief) specifications of my computer:Ĭrucial Ballistix Sport LT 2x8GB 3200 MHz My conclusion is that it would be a problem related to the sound card, because when I plug my headphones directly into the jack of my computer, everything works perfectly. I concluded that it is not a problem related to the drivers. The most recent drivers are installed (5.12.0), the problems being already present under the previous version of these drivers (5.0). I reinstalled Windows 10 (different builds such as: 1809, 20H2, 21H1), the problem persists on all its versions, so it's not a Windows related problem. I have to change the sample rate 2/3/4 times, it's quite random, and it finally works. There is no sound coming out on Windows, the only solution to this problem is to change the sample rate when I launch a file or a video with sound (or a Spotify music) so the 'Device in Use' message appear. The problem is when I connect my DT 770 to the UMC404HD. My use is quite classical, I was going to use it mainly to connect my headphones, 2 speakers and a midi keyboard. Here it is, 2 weeks ago I ordered and received my very first sound card, the 'Behringer UMC404HD'. To tell you the truth, I don't know if this is the right place to share this problem, but I'll go ahead:
